Construsul Dedetizadora

The agroecological movement in Brazil started with critiques of the impacts of agricultural systems based on the Green Revolution. The value of yield losses caused by insects is around 1.6 billion dollars annually 5 Chemical insecticides, applied mainly to control fruit flies and moths, still represent the primary form of control in the Serra Ga├║cha dedetizadora em porto alegre Region, although recent progress has been achieved by alternative pest-control technologies, such as the use of pheromones, toxic baits and mass trapping 6 , 7 , 8 Chemical control through insecticides is often ineffective and it may have an indirect effect on non-target pests, mainly due to its negative impact on natural enemy populations.
For example, the neonicotinoid imidacloprid, which is used in Brazil to control the citrus greening vector Diaphorina citri Kuwayama, 1908 (Psylloidea: Psyllidae) ( Nakano et al. 1999 ), also is effective in controlling many species of scale insects, including P. citri ( Morandi Filho et al. 2009 ).

Colonial Brazil ( Portuguese : Brasil Colonial) comprises the period from 1500, with the arrival of the Portuguese , until 1815, when Brazil was elevated to a kingdom in union with Portugal as the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves During the early 300 years of Brazilian colonial history, the economic exploitation of the territory was based first on brazilwood (pau brazil) extraction (16th century), which gave the territory its name; 1 sugar production (16th-18th centuries); and finally on gold and diamond mining (18th century).
To achieve this, we compiled data on the most recent reference year (2015) related to the quantity of active ingredients for insecticides (in metric tons) and ranked the 10 countries (of the 39 for which data were available) that were the greatest consumers of these agricultural supplies (Fig 1). Information for the reference year was missing from many countries, such as the United States, for which the most up-to-date official figures on the use of insecticides are from 2012 (66,770 metric tons of active ingredients).

We were able to confirm the identity of this new fly as African fig fly (AFF), Zaprionus indianus Gupta, thanks to fact sheets and species confirmation by a Florida worker (coauthor KVDL) from the original U.S. infestation ( Steck 2005 , van der Linde 2010 ).
Curtis, J. (1833) British Entomology, being illustrations and descriptions of the genera of Insects found in Great Britain and Ireland; containing Coloured Figures from Nature of the most rare and beautiful Species, and in many Instances of the Plants upon which they are found.
The level of pest management adoption was divided into five profiles with equal amplitude, as follows: (i) Integrated Pest Management (IPM), whose CC sum of indicators results in values from 55 to 90; (ii) Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), in the range from 19 to 54; (iii) Conventional management (CM), ranging from -18 to 18; (iv) Unbalance Management (UM), ranging from -19 to -54; (v) Unsuitable management (UM), ranging from -55 to -90.

Some of the main damage symptoms caused by scale insects on citrus trees observed during this study were: (1) chlorosis on the leaves, caused mainly by species of diaspidids; (2) dieback of twigs and branches on plants infested by U. citri and L. rugosa; (3) early fruit drop in fruits infested by P. cinerea, in the calyx region; (4) sooty mold fungi on leaves infested mainly by P. praelonga and by species of coccids and pseudococcids, due to the large amount of honeydew eliminated by these species.
Brazil (agricultural area: 282,589x103 ha; beehives: 1,020,000) is also among the world's leading honey producers, ranked 9th out of all countries (approximately 40,000 metric tons), although its production is 12 times less than that of the world leader, China (473,600 metric tons, agricultural area: 528,634x103 ha;
